EMCC and International Mentoring Association announce 

a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

The EMCC exists to develop, promote, and set the expectation of best practice in mentoring, coaching, and supervision globally for the benefit of society.
IMA exists as the premier global mentoring organization to create global communities for sharing best practices that lead to development of highly effective mentoring programs via a support base of diversity through a variety of venues.
Areas of Co-operation for this MoU include, but are not limited to:
1. Global advocacy on the strategic importance of mentoring.
2. Collaborated research and co-creation of mentoring best practices.
3. Working together to understand each other’s professional designations and frameworks that underpin these awards.
4. Engagement and inclusion in each’s conferences, symposiums, webinars, and publications focusing on mentoring.
5. Sharing approaches and ideologies on Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, and Belonging.
6. Sharing opportunities such as approaches and ideologies on Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
7. Broadening the geographical relevance of the Global Code of Ethics.
8. Cross-marketing and promotion of materials for specific initiatives and events to our respective memberships.
