The IMA Consultants' Directory is designed for members who consult with organizations on mentoring programs and strategies. This exclusive opportunity allows you to highlight your consulting services and expertise to a broader audience, all while showing that you are vetted by IMA. Although engagements are not promised, the directory serves as a trusted resource for organizations seeking experienced consultants to enhance their mentoring programs and create lasting impact.

• Consultants help design, implement and improve mentorship programs ensuring the program aligns with IMA standards while respecting cultural sensitivities.
  
  
• Consultants assess the effectiveness of existing mentoring programs, identify areas for improvements, and recommend tailored solutions. They ensure mentoring programs are scalable and sustainable.
  
  
• Consultants coach program leaders on specific skills, strategies, and methodologies to strengthen programs and build capacity.
  
  
• IMA consultants may help leaders of mentor programs prepare for the IMA Accreditation process enabling a program to gain Gold Level IMA Accreditation.

 
Why Join the IMA Consultant Directory

The IMA will feature a list of Endorsed Consultants on its website. To be included, consultants pay a fee of $600 for a two-year endorsement, which automatically includes, at no additional cost, an optional listing in the IMA Speaker's Directory for those who meet the qualifications. Endorsed Consultants will write a profile highlighting their areas of expertise, speaking topics, and training focus, and submit a digital photo for the website, along with a link to their personal website or email. The endorsement also allows consultants to set their own fees for training or speaking engagements, with the IMA receiving no portion of those fees. The endorsement remains active for two years, during which the consultant's profile is displayed on the IMA website, with the option to renew at the end of the term. 

In addition to the benefit of being featured on the IMA website as an Endorsed Consultant, which may drive business to the consultant, there are other benefits, as well. Individuals who receive IMA Consultant Endorsement have the privilege of using an "IMA Endorsed Consultant" logo on their published materials and marketing. The Endorsed Consultant also has the privilege of distributing IMA training “badges” to those who are coached by the consultant (optional to use). The badge will indicate that the participant has successfully completed a program facilitated by an Endorsed Consultant of the International Mentoring Association (IMA). PLEASE NOTE: This does not give the trainee any credentials to be a consultant. It only acknowledges completion of program facilitated by an IMA Endorsed Consultant, but the trainee may use the badge on their signature. The badge is only to be given to those completing coaching or a program by the Endorsed Consultant, and the badge is the intellectual property of the IMA and cannot be altered. 

IMA Consultants are encouraged to invite clients to prepare for and participate in IMA Accreditation leading to Gold Level or Silver Level status. The IMA Accreditation process is described on the IMA website while the one-page scoring guide provides an excellent overview. 

The International Mentoring Association (IMA) recognizes the need to identify and endorse mentoring consultants as individuals OR 2-5 individuals in a mentoring consultant business. 

The IMA Consultant title and fee entitle you to the following:

• Marketing on the IMA website using the materials submitted (above)
  
  
• Being showcased at the bi-annual conference
  
  
• Opportunity to deliver an IMA webinar

• Interview on YouTube channel provided by the speaker may be posted on the IMA website
  
  
• Bio on the IMA Endorsed Consultants page of the IMA website with photo

• List of three consulting experiences on mentor-related topics. Can add an additional page as desired
  
  
• Your social media/website information as available
  
  
• A short video clip of yourself giving a presentation
  
  
• Three recommendations for reference checks with email/phone numbers included

Submission/Fees (you will be invoiced by the IMA) 

Individual

• Applications accepted year round
  
  
• Application Fee: $600 – payable to IMA
  
  
• Fee is refundable if endorsement is denied, minus a review fee of $200.

Business

• Application Fee: $600 per person in your business- payable to IMA
  
  
• Fee is refundable if denied, minus a review fee of $200.
